April 2026 Update

April brings document access requests with denial notifications, a real-time notifications center, smarter subscription plan changes with upgrade and downgrade flows, project search, currency formatting in payments, blog engagement features including claps and RSS, refreshed transactional emails, and broad SEO and link-preview improvements across the product.

  • Document Access Requests: Request access to documents you do not own through a dedicated modal, review pending requests from a panel for quick approve or deny actions, and receive a notification when a request is denied so the next step is always clear
  • Real-time Notifications Center: Notifications dropdown that streams updates as they happen, reflects connection status, marks items read on view, and links straight to the relevant document, task, or page
  • Project Search and Filtering: Filter the project list by name to jump straight to the workspace you are looking for
  • Empty, Error, and No-resource Mascots: Friendlier illustrations across empty lists, error states, and no-resource screens to make these moments feel less abrupt
  • Currency Formatting on Payment Details: Amounts in subscription and invoice details now render in the correct currency and locale for cleaner, more accurate billing UX
  • Blog Claps: Show appreciation for blog posts with clap counts that update instantly through optimistic feedback and aggregate across readers
  • Blog Author and Tag Pages: Browse posts by author or by tag with dedicated landing pages, plus a new RSS feed for subscribing in your reader of choice
  • Rich Link Previews for Brink: Public Brink pages now generate Open Graph preview images automatically, so links shared to social platforms render with the creator's profile and styling
  • Open Graph Previews for Short Links: Short links shared on social platforms now render with proper preview cards instead of plain URLs
  • Public Brink Sitemap: A dedicated sitemap for public Brink pages so creators show up in search faster
  • Public Catalog Sitemaps: New sitemap endpoints help search engines discover the full set of public catalog resources Braandly publishes
  • Blog Discoverability: Robots configuration and a sitemap for the marketing blog so new posts get indexed faster, plus HTML entity decoding so post titles and excerpts render cleanly across the site
  • Locale-aware Dates: Dates across the workspace render in the user's locale so weekdays, months, and ordinals follow local conventions
  • Subscription Plan Changes: Upgrades and downgrades now classify the change automatically, send a tailored confirmation email, and notify users of upcoming renewals before they are charged
  • Past-due Subscription Handling: When a renewal charge fails, the subscription is marked past due and recovery flows kick in so users have a clear path to restore access without losing data
  • Purchase Analytics: Successful purchases feed into product analytics with consistent tracking across payment providers, giving a clearer picture of conversion across regions
  • Payment Success Flow: A dedicated success page after checkout confirms the upgrade and routes users back into the product
  • Brand Verification Metadata: Brand claim and verification flows now carry the brand slug end to end, making it easier to track which brand each request belongs to
  • Brand Invitation Routing: Brand invitation links route correctly across environments so collaborators land in the right workspace
  • Onboarding Clarity: Reworded the use-case picker to "Create a Link-in-bio (Brink)" so the label matches the term used elsewhere in the product
  • Notifications Dropdown Polish: Smaller layout refinements make connection state, unread counts, and quick actions easier to scan
  • SEO Foundations: Site URL resolution, dynamic robots configuration, PWA manifest, character-count validation for titles and descriptions, and a unified site navigation graph for richer search results
  • Brink SEO Configuration: Brink resolves canonical URLs from the current environment so previews and production share consistent metadata
  • Default Open Graph Assets: Reference Open Graph assets are now bundled by default, so pages without custom imagery still produce a polished social preview
  • Friendlier Empty and Not-found States: Cleaner copy and visuals when feedback lists are empty or a record cannot be found
  • One-time Password Verification for Sensitive Actions: Password reset and account deletion now require an additional verification step for stronger account protection
  • Secure Email Links: Links inside transactional emails always direct users to the secure version of the site
  • Safer Editor Links: Links inserted into the editor open in a new tab with safer defaults for external destinations
  • Improved Link Safety: Stricter handling of redirects and short link previews keeps users safe from unsafe destinations
  • Smarter Routing After Login: Authentication routing was upgraded so users land in the right workspace and shared task links resolve through the correct context
  • Patched Blog Framework Vulnerability: Picked up upstream framework patches for the marketing blog to keep readers protected
  • Refreshed Transactional Emails: Every transactional email template was rewritten for consistent voice, cleaner formatting, and clearer calls to action
  • Cached Public Sitemaps: Public sitemap responses are cached and versioned for fast load times and reliable indexing across catalog pages
  • Faster Short Link Previews: Short link preview rendering is cached and hardened so social platforms get a fast, reliable response on first hit
  • Resilient Real-time Infrastructure: Real-time messaging degrades gracefully when downstream services are slow, keeping the app responsive during partial disruptions
  • Snappier Page Loads: Refreshed font loading and tuned cache settings shave time off first paint across the app
  • Installable Brink Pages: Brink ships with full installable web app assets, including high-resolution icons and a web manifest, so creators and visitors can pin pages to their home screen
  • Smoother Sidebar Scrolling: Sidebar scrolling has been refined for a steadier feel when navigating long document or task lists
