What's New in Braandly

Follow our latest product updates, improvements, and new features as we build the workspace for managing brands.

June 2026 Update

June opens Braandly up to developers and AI assistants with a public API, an interactive developer portal, and a hosted MCP server you connect with a single secure sign-in, alongside a read-only guest client portal, comments on projects, public brand docs, and code blocks in tasks, plus automatic task status updates when you move cards, more reliable AI generation, a steadier task editor, and a range of fixes and security improvements.

  • Public API: Build on top of Braandly with a public REST API and your own API keys, each scoped to exactly the resources and read or write permissions you choose
  • Developer Portal: A new developer reference at /developers with interactive, searchable API documentation you can try right in the browser
  • Braandly MCP Server: Connect Braandly to AI assistants like Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and VS Code through a hosted MCP server, sign in once with a secure connection, and let them work across your workspace
  • Connected Apps & Consent: Review exactly what a third-party app or AI assistant is asking for on a clear consent screen, then manage or disconnect connected apps any time from settings
  • Guest Client Portal: Invite clients as read-only guests who see a clean portal with just the projects they are on, a dashboard, and an activity feed, while editing and internal tools stay hidden
  • Comments on Projects: Comment threads now work at the project level, not just on tasks, and guests can mention your team to reach the right person
  • Public Brand Docs: Mark any brand note public and it appears in a read-only Brand Docs tab on your public brand page for visitors to read
  • Code Blocks in Task Descriptions: Add syntax-highlighted code to task descriptions with a searchable language picker and a one-click copy button
  • Cross-device What's New: The What's New panel remembers when you have read the latest update across every device you sign in on, so it stops reappearing once you have seen it
  • Task Status Follows Your Board: Drag a task into another column, such as Done, and its status updates automatically, with watchers notified of the change
  • Do More Through the API and MCP: Connected apps and AI assistants can now manage tasks, subtasks, sections, tags, comments, project members, brands, brand identity, guidelines, Brinks, and documents, matching what you can do in the app, and accept tags by name and content as Markdown, HTML, or plain text
  • API Key Management: Create and edit API keys with a per-resource read and write scope picker and sensible presets, and copy a newly created key once at creation while existing keys stay masked
  • Higher API and MCP Limits: Request limits for the API and MCP server are significantly higher, so agents and integrations can do more
  • Public API and MCP in Integrations: The public API and MCP server now appear as first-class entries under a new Developer category in the integrations directory, each with its own detail page
  • More Integrations Listed: The integrations directory gained a dedicated Figma page and a Microsoft Edge entry, so more of the tools you use show up when you browse integrations
  • Clearer Pricing: Pricing now shows API access and MCP server availability alongside each plan's limits, in a cleaner, centered comparison
  • More Help Content: New help articles covering the API, MCP, and workspace roles and permissions, rewritten brand creation guides, and improved search so the latest articles are easy to find
  • Live Document Access Updates: When access or permissions on a document change, they now update in real time, and document invitations create a notification so collaborators know right away
  • Faster Public Documents: Public documents now load fully rendered when shared, so they open quickly and preview correctly when linked
  • More to Do Through the API: Connected apps and AI assistants can now read and export your Brink subscribers, customize a Brink's appearance, and update brand identity through the public API
  • Steadier Task Editor: Fixed a crash that could close the whole page when saving, canceling, or closing a task description, along with unreadable code blocks and an overflowing language list
  • Create a Brand with AI: The brand form now scrolls fully on small or zoomed screens so the colors section is never cut off
  • Brand Notes: Fixed an error that prevented creating a note from a brand's Notes tab
  • Document Sharing: The Share dialog in the document editor now opens above the editor instead of behind it
  • Move Section: Fixed a "Section not found" error when reordering or moving a column on a project board
  • Brand Guidelines Access: You can now open a brand guideline immediately after creating it instead of hitting a permission error
  • More Reliable AI Generation: Refreshed the AI models behind brand generation so features that had started failing work again, and credits are automatically refunded if a generation fails or is interrupted
  • Google Sign-in: Fixed an "email not provided" error that could block signing in or signing up with Google
  • Fewer Rate-limit Errors: Stopped repeated requests from piling up against usage limits, so you are far less likely to see a "too many requests" message during normal use
  • Pricing Page: Fixed a display glitch and corrected local currency alignment on the pricing comparison
  • Reliable Document Editing: Fixed a crash when opening certain documents and a rare issue where edits made during live collaboration could be lost, so your changes now save dependably
  • Cleaner Brand Doc Cards: Brand document cards now show a clean text preview instead of raw formatting
  • Mobile Homepage Display: Fixed a blank area that could appear below the hero section on some phones
  • Invitations Keep the Role You Chose: People invited as guests stay guests after accepting instead of being upgraded automatically
  • Stronger Team Permissions: Member management now respects your workspace role order, so people can only invite or change roles within their own level
  • Enhanced Account Security: Behind-the-scenes hardening across sign-in, sharing, and our public services keeps your account and data better protected
  • Faster Mobile Homepage: Trimmed what loads on the marketing homepage for a quicker first paint on phones
  • More Reliable Invitations: Hardened the invitation flow so it handles edge cases cleanly for steadier team setup
  • Steadier Usage Limits: Reworked how usage limits are applied so shared networks and busy sessions no longer trip them unnecessarily
  • Consistent Logo Rendering: A shared logo component fixes aspect-ratio and rendering inconsistencies across the app
  • Refreshed Legal Pages: Updated Privacy, Terms, and related policies for the new AI and API features, with clear last-updated dates and shorter links
