August 2026 Update
August brings Braandly AI into the product itself: an assistant you can open anywhere, dock beside your work, and ask about your own brands, projects, tasks and plan, with every answer showing what it looked at. Your task board gains AI too, turning a brief into a plan, drafting descriptions and subtasks, flagging duplicates and writing project status summaries, while brand voice now shapes everything Braandly writes for you.
- The Braandly Assistant: A new AI assistant you can open from anywhere in your workspace, ask in your own words, and keep talking to as you move between pages
- Dock It Beside Your Work: Dock the assistant as a side rail that the page makes room for rather than covering, drag it to the width you want, and it stays where you put it
- Open It From the Keyboard: A keyboard shortcut opens and closes the assistant without reaching for the mouse
- It Knows What You Have Open: The assistant can see which task, document, brand or Brink you are looking at, so you can ask about "this task" instead of describing it
- Quick Actions for the Page You Are On: Whatever you have open comes with suggested actions, so the useful thing to ask is one click away
- Ask About Your Own Workspace: The assistant can look up your brands, brand guidelines, projects, tasks, documents and Brinks and answer from what is actually there
- Ask About Your Plan and Usage: Ask how much of your plan you have used or what your current limits are, and get an answer from your real figures
- Answers From the Help Centre: How-to questions are answered from Braandly's own help articles, with links to the article the answer came from
- See What It Looked At: Every answer lists the things it read, and you can watch it work through them while it is still looking
- Choose What It May Look Up: A scope control lets you narrow the assistant to just what you want it to consider
- Follow-up Questions: Suggested follow-ups appear under the last answer so you can go deeper without composing the next question yourself
- A Saved Prompt Library: Save the prompts you keep retyping, pin the ones you use most, and pull them into the composer as you write
- Fix a Message Instead of Retyping It: Edit a message you have already sent and resend it, or regenerate an answer you were not happy with
- Accept What the Assistant Drafts: When the assistant proposes subtasks, they arrive as a card you review and accept rather than changes made on your behalf
- Brand Voice in the Assistant: The assistant writes in your workspace's brand voice, and a switch turns that off when you want plain output
- AI Task Descriptions: Generate a description from the task's own context, and read it before it goes anywhere near the task
- Suggested Task Fields: Get a suggested priority, tags, assignees and due date for a task, drawn from what the task actually says
- Break a Task into Subtasks: Ask for a breakdown built from the subtasks the task already has, so nothing is duplicated
- Duplicate Task Warnings: Writing a task that reads like one that already exists now raises a warning, with a link to open the one you may have meant
- A Brief Becomes a Project Plan: Give the board a brief and get back sections and the tasks inside them, reusing the columns your board already has instead of creating new ones
- Project Status Summaries: Write a status summary from what is on the board, counted rather than guessed, keep previous summaries as history, save one as a document, or delete it
- Board Templates: An empty board now offers a gallery of templates, or an AI-generated plan, instead of leaving you with a blank page
- Collapsible Board Columns: Fold a board column down to a rail to focus on the rest of the board, and drop tasks straight onto a folded column
- Search Inside Documents: Document search now looks through document bodies, not just their titles
- Brand Voice Findings You Can Apply: In documents, a brand voice finding now applies to the exact passage it points at
- Clearer AI Credit Costs: Costs are shown before you spend them, read from the account that actually pays, so what you are quoted matches what is deducted
- Running Out Mid-conversation: Running out of credits now pauses the assistant's lookups rather than ending the conversation, so you can keep talking
- Know What the Model Is Doing: Waiting states now say what is happening rather than showing an unexplained spinner, across every AI surface
- Export Every Brink Subscriber: Exporting your Brink subscribers now returns the full list rather than only the rows currently loaded on screen
- A Calmer Board Header: The board statistics bar now starts collapsed, and board controls no longer appear over a still-loading header
- Project Notification Settings: The project member notification dialog now reflects the real state of each member's settings, and stays open while a bulk change is being written
- More Help Content: Seven new help articles covering Brink subscriber limits and exports, the contrast checker, downloading a brand kit, saved collections, publishing one guideline per brand and requesting a refund, plus twelve previously drafted articles published and five corrected where they contradicted the product
- Document Editor Crash: Fixed a crash that could take down the document editor, and stopped one open document from disturbing another
- Dialogs Cut Off by the Page: Fixed dialogs being clipped or misplaced by the layout around them, including the AI dialogs on the project board
- Tooltips for Keyboard Users: Tooltips now open when a control is focused with the keyboard, and close properly when it is clicked
- Assistant Replies: Fixed messages appearing twice, replies coming back blank, the first message of a new chat being lost, and a reply being blanked out just as it finished
- Stopping Generation: Stopping the assistant mid-answer now keeps the part it had already written instead of discarding it
- Drafts Survive a Reload: An unsent message is still there after a page reload
- Editing a Message: Fixed focus, Escape and Copy behaving unpredictably while editing a message, and an open edit being thrown away when a new answer started
- Assistant Links: Links in an answer now open in place rather than reloading the app, and bare web addresses in generated text are now clickable
- The Rail and the Rest of the Page: The docked assistant no longer overlaps the sidebar or pushes a fullscreen task panel off screen, and is not offered at a width the window has no room for
- Board Columns: Fixed empty columns reading as stuck loading, generated columns landing in the wrong position, folded columns leaking between boards, and a template writing columns the board already had
- Applying a Plan: A partly applied plan is now described by what actually happened to each section, can be retried without adding anything twice, and a fully failed plan no longer reads as a success
- AI Result Cards: Fixed duplicated actions, a saving state attaching to the wrong card, and a delete confirmation sitting under the buttons it belonged to
- Sidebar Shadow: Fixed the sidebar shadow being clipped by the panel it sat inside
- Corrected Pricing Answers: Corrected several claims in the pricing and contact FAQs that did not match how billing actually works
- Enhanced Account Security: Further hardening across sign-in, password setting, account recovery and team invitations keeps your account better protected
- Safer Sign-in Redirects: Following a link into Braandly now returns you only to genuine Braandly pages
- Steadier AI Under Load: AI requests are now paced per account, so heavy use by one person cannot slow the service for everyone
- No More Cut-off Generations: Generated content that was cut short is now reported instead of being quietly returned as though it were complete, and you are not charged for it
- Reliable Starting Credits: AI credits are now granted on every path that creates an account, and a stranded balance is repaired automatically
- Faster Document Search: Document search now returns results quickly even as your document count grows
- A Dashboard That Fits Its Space: The dashboard now sizes itself by the width of your actual content column rather than the whole window, so panels, boards and tables fit properly when the sidebar or the assistant rail is open
- Calmer AI Dialogs: Slowed the waiting messages and lightened the example prompts so the AI dialogs read as less busy
July 2026 Update
July turns the document editor into a full writing workspace with suggesting mode, math, diagrams, embeds, an outline pane and AI actions on any selection, and adds clear plan usage meters, account-level notification preferences, rebuilt image tools with HEIC support, and far more reliable team invitations.
June 2026 Update
June opens Braandly up to developers and AI assistants with a public API, an interactive developer portal, and a hosted MCP server you connect with a single secure sign-in, alongside a read-only guest client portal, comments on projects, public brand docs, and code blocks in tasks, plus automatic task status updates when you move cards, more reliable AI generation, a steadier task editor, and a range of fixes and security improvements.
May 2026 Update
May adds profile picture customization, image compression and conversion tools that hand off to each other, automatic image optimization on upload, importing colors straight from an image, and a new help center with article feedback, alongside a more reliable document editor, a fix for phone number dial codes, the ability to set a password for Google sign-ups, stronger password rules, and security updates across the app and backend.
April 2026 Update
April brings document access requests with denial notifications, a real-time notifications center, smarter subscription plan changes with upgrade and downgrade flows, project search, currency formatting in payments, blog engagement features including claps and RSS, refreshed transactional emails, and broad SEO and link-preview improvements across the product.
March 2026 Update
March delivers powerful new task views with calendar, table, and board layouts, a workspace productivity stats panel with charts and trend tracking, customizable dashboards, deep document linking, real-time multi-user collaboration, and an in-app What's New system.
February 2026 Update
February was our biggest release yet with the launch of Docs, AI text generation, automated task email notifications, and a major brand generation overhaul. Create collaborative documents, generate content with AI, and stay on top of tasks with automated reminders.
January 2026 Update
This month focused on security hardening, Brink customization, and developer infrastructure. From account lockout protection and session sync to 8 new background patterns and expanded embed support, Braandly is now more secure, more customizable, and more reliable.
December 2025 Update
This release was all about the foundation: strengthening workflows, polishing task and admin experiences, expanding accessibility tooling, and preparing Braandly for more scalable collaboration and brand management features.
